Estate & Downsizing Cleanouts

Respectful removal of suitable household contents after the authorized decision-maker, item scope, access and timeline are confirmed.

What the service may include

A practical cleanout service, not estate administration

Estate and downsizing projects often involve multiple decision-makers, important documents, sentimental items, donation candidates and strict property deadlines. Clear authorization and a careful sorting plan help avoid mistakes.

  • Whole-home or room-by-room junk removal
  • Downsizing and move-related cleanouts
  • Furniture and household contents
  • Basement, garage and storage areas
  • Coordination with an authorized executor, owner or representative
  • Staged pickups for larger projects

Information needed for review

  • Name and authority of the person approving removal
  • Rooms and items included in the scope
  • Items that must remain or be set aside
  • Deadline for sale, possession or move-out
  • Access, parking and building restrictions

Important: A2Z does not provide legal advice, estate administration, appraisal, document review or guaranteed donation value. The authorized customer must decide what is removed.

Planning and access

Use clear keep, review and remove zones

Separate documents, medication, jewelry, keys, photos, financial records and sentimental items before removal begins. For larger properties, label rooms or zones and identify a single authorized contact for decisions.

Common questions

Does A2Z decide what should be kept?

No. The customer or authorized representative must make all keep, donate and remove decisions.

Can an estate cleanout be completed in stages?

Yes, staged pickups may be practical depending on volume, deadlines, route and property access.

Does A2Z appraise or sell estate property?

No such service is promised. A2Z provides removal of accepted items after the scope is approved.

Where service may be available
